OOOOOO…. The Milkshake!

Ok, so the rave might be this Forky guy, but my favorite characters have always been the Aliens from Pizza Planet. If you have seen my custom Toy Story ears when we went to Disney World over Christmas, this might have given it away. So naturally when I was thinking up ways to keep the kids busy over the summer with Toy Story 4 crafts and recipes, the alien milkshake immediately came to mind. I had to create this.

Anyway, lets get started! No need for my entire life story to make this amazing drink. Below are your supplies:

  • 1 tub of any flavor ice cream (it will be dyed green so don’t worry)
  • 1 bottle of blue food coloring
  • 1 bottle of green food coloring
  • 1 package of eye candies
  • 1 bottle of green chocolate shavings
  • 1 container of icing
  • 1 blender
  • 1/2 cup milk (you can this or heavy whipping cream if you enjoy a more frothy shake)

And because of the kids, the directions are pretty simple, so make sure you let them help you when they can. Here you go with the steps:

  • Add the desired scoops of ice cream. For ours, we added 6 scoops of the mermaid flavor and 1/2 cup of milk (optional)
  • Add 3 drops of green food coloring. Blend until smooth and set aside
  • Next is the icing, add 3 drops of blue food coloring and mix well
  • Grab your mug of choice and lather the icing on to the rim of the mug. (You can do this 1 of 2 ways either using a knife and spreading OR dipping the mug straight into the container if it’s small enough.)
  • Time to add your green chocolate shavings! While rotating the glass, shake the shaving onto the blue icing.
  • Time to add your 3 alien eyes on the icing. Also, I found these eyes at Hobby Lobby in the baking section
  • Pour your milkshake into the mug and enjoy

This mystic portal awaits and it’s telling you to make this amazing milkshake. Farewell my friends!
